how to make Amatriciana Spaghetti |
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg chicken, fillet cut into medium sized strips
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Oil
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp crushed black pepper
- 720 ml passata
- 350g spaghetti
- Parmesan, to taste
Method:
Put the chicken into a large pan. Cook gently over a medium heat with a little oil and the ginger garlic paste. Add red chilli flakes, salt and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes until the chicken is sizzling and cooked through. Stir in the tomato passata,, bring to the boil and simmer for another 7-10 mins. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti as instructed on the packet, drain well. Dish the pasta onto plates, add the chicken and sauce, sprinkle with a little parmesan to serve.
